Most of computer users have found themselves in an unpleasant situation when after working on a very important document for along time or creating of the important project, a computer when turned on in the morning, starts "swearing" by popping out of various incomprehensible and frightening
messages. Computer refuses to work, or maybe even fails to start making you as angry as a bear. Your pupils dilate, your heart starts to beat wildly, your body breaks into a cold sweat, a terrible thought passes through the mind - data! What will happen with the document, that must be completed as quickly as possible or with the project having been created for such a long time, as the backup does not exist. Possible versions of computer repair and data recovery:
1. Computer shows no "signs of life". If you have a desktop computer, most probably the power supply of computer system block has failed. It is one of the most frequent failures of desktop computers that can be quickly eliminated. Replacement of power supply lasts for 5-15 minutes, therefore, if you immediately organize a repair by consulting a computer specialist or a person who is highly skilled at this work and has knowledge about the computer structure, soon you may become a satisfied computer user again. In rarer cases failures of motherboard or processor, damages of hard disk drive are possible, then the repair would take incomparably more time.
In case of a laptop computer, you should make sure whether a power adapter - charger is operating, disconnect and connect the battery pack again, press on CMOS restart button (if there is any at the bottom part of your laptop computer).
2. Computer seems to be turned on, the "lights" are blinking, and the coolers inside are running, but you can see nothing on the screen. Sometimes a beep can be heard from the main block of the computer.
Technical failure of computer block: from possibly minor failures of random-access memory (RAM) and graphics card to more complicated problems of motherboard (MB). As in the first case, you would have to seek for computer specialist's help. If random-access memory or video graphics card has failed, they are simply replaced by new ones within some or several minutes and computer will be working again.
3. Computer turns on and "is booting", however, stops at some message again and again, repeatedly restarts or just is not responding. Depending on the message, the problem may be related to the hard disk drive (HDD) or hard disk data, in rarer cases it is the problems of random-access memory (RAM) or motherboard (MB). Usually the system fails to find:
- the system file being searched, that may be corrupted or deleted;
- the partition of hard disk drive to boot the operating system;
- totally fails to "detect" and find hard disk drive when it is broken, the faulty boot parameters in the main system - BIOS - controlling the computer hardware are set.

Sometimes a computer fails to boot only due to the inserted USB disk, USB flashcard or a floppy disk, as sometimes BIOS system firstly does address them and not finding the necessary files for booting "utters a curse". In this case is simple to repair computer. A USB storage device must be disconnected or a floppy disk must be taken out.
